The Challenge
Marsh was updating its global digital footprint. This project offered a key opportunity to rethink user discovery, navigation structures, and core journeys across the digital ecosystem.
The goal went beyond updating the UI. It required grounding every UI choice in real analytics and behavioral data while creating room to test and iterate before writing code
My Role
Product Designer — UX Strategy & Digital Product Design
I collaborated with a cross-functional team to redesign the Marsh global platforms.
I led the introduction of new methods for ideation, experience evaluation, and information architecture.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Design · Product · Content · Engineering · Analytics
Scope
Data-informed UX Research
AI-assisted Experience Evaluation
Information Architecture (IA)
Sprint Ideation Frameworks
User Persona Modeling
High-Fidelity UI & Interactive Prototyping
Systemic Documentation & Design QA
01
UNDERSTAND
Key Deliverable
Data & Traffic Insights for Design Decision-Making
Design Strategy & Methods
01 Analytics Review
02 Behavioral Pattern Mapping
03 Journey Mapping
We combined analytics with existing research to pinpoint high-traffic areas, drop-off friction, and growth opportunities across key funnels.
This shifted team discussions from subjective opinions to evidence-backed choices.
Impact Focus
Translate user behavior and analytics into clear design opportunities.

03
IDEATION
Key Deliverable
Cross-Functional Product Roadmap
Design Strategy & Methods
01 Lotus Blossom
02 Sprint Ideation
03 Rapid Exploration
04 Prioritization
We rapidly stress-tested alternative navigation schemes, visual hierarchies, and interaction patterns.
The outcome was not just a set of design ideas, but a shared roadmap for how we would evaluate and evolve the concepts in the next stages of the project.
This gave the team a clearer framework for prioritizing exploration, aligning on open questions, and making future design decisions.
Impact Focus
Turn exploration into a shared roadmap for future decisions.

04
SHAPING THE PROCESS
Key Deliverable
Early-Stage Validation
Design Strategy & Methods
01 Rapid Wireframing
02 Funnel & Flow Reviews
03 User Personas
04 Content Architecture
05 Navigation Models
AI-Assisted UX Research
Research Synthesis
User Story Framing
Rapid low-fidelity wireframes allowed us to test content hierarchy and navigation flows before committing to final visuals.
This approach ensured consistency across the evolving digital experience.

05
EXPANDING THE SYSTEM
Key Deliverable
Scalable Pattern & UI System
Design Strategy & Methods
01 High-Fidelity Design
02 Interactive Prototyping
03 Design System Extension
04 Responsive Layouts
05 Responsive Design
06 Stakeholder Alignment
AI-Assisted UX Research
Rapid Concept Validation
Claude Council — Multi-Perspective Auditing
As the company was transitioning toward a new visual language, the opportunity was not only to apply new styles, but to think strategically about how each component could work across different contexts, content types, and future experiences.
We rapidly developed high-fidelity proposals and interactive prototypes to make ideas tangible and enable early feedback.
These prototypes supported quick validation sessions with design leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, helping the team compare directions, identify opportunities, and refine the components before moving further into implementation.
Impact Focus
Balancing a new brand with design system scalability.

06
HANDOFF & DELIVERY
Key Deliverable
Production-Ready Handoff Documentation
Design Strategy & Methods
01 Component Specifications
02 Responsive States Specs
03 Developer Handoff
04 Design QA
05 Design System Scaling
AI-Assisted Accessibility
WCAG Accessibility Audit
Clear naming and reusable component definitions helped engineering connect design decisions with implementation, reducing ambiguity and unnecessary iteration.
The components were designed to scale, creating a more consistent and maintainable foundation for future pages and experiences.
Impact Focus
Establish a consistent, scalable foundation for future digital experiences.

Combined user behavior metrics, research, and AI-assisted audits into clear execution steps.
Built to support over 130 countries and 20+ languages with consistent UX standards
Low-fidelity testing served as a live communication tool across Product, Engineering, and Design.
Interactive prototypes validated core user journeys prior to front-end development.
Complete component documentation reduced QA cycles and engineering friction
Key Learnings
01
Data Guides the Questions
Analytics are most powerful when used to frame hypotheses, not just to validate finished work.
02
AI Elevates Exploration
AI-assisted reviews uncover patterns quickly, but human intuition remains essential for experience decisions.
03
Structured Exploration Works
Testing multiple IA and interaction models prevents premature commitment to weak solutions.
04
Handoff is a Continuous Process
Engineering collaboration must happen throughout the design lifecycle, not just at final delivery.
